Bloodied Wool

Wide eyed Looking for a clue Hidden within these lies Handed down Through masqueraded smiles Preformed by the masters Of the hills Mouths of deceit Utter truths in their own tongues Shepherd to the sheep Who play to their every sound Indescribable ignorance Failing to realize What stupidity really is Dismiss their calls And dismiss their actions Follow what you see In the distance Crawl on knees Or on your bare belly Do whatever's needed to stay free Call on others With eyes propped open Walk around with mouths dropped open See the world for what it really is Watch those masters wear sheep skins While they show their shepherd smiles And gape at the white wooled flocks Failing to realize That visions and color Only stimulate the mind Unable to hear only listen Exposing falsehoods The parasite of lies Infecting an infected world Deny them what they want to hear Fade the showy colors to black and white Stand against what they tell all As they send the flock to do their jobs While the shepherds lean against that tall oak Rest now with mouth agape As drooling sheep prance in joyous exultation A sickness among the sheep Kills from blind devotion to their shepherds Coughing up blood and calling for their master They begin to see the shepherd before them How they decorate themselves with skins of the flock Choking on their blood, gasping for air They finally see as the disease claims them for eternity Quickly the shepherd tosses the corpse for none to see or questionWhen I started it, this wasn't where I really wanted to take it ;P But, it works, heh.
