By Simonic

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I stand at the edge of a disastrous life, wanting to Drain my soul, fading from existence, surrendering My once treasured life, now just a spew of chaotic Thoughts, shifting within my head, exerting itself Into my failing life, whirling violently amid This shadow, liquefying dreams, dripping into the Vat of society, conforming all the lives Of humanity, feeding upon the blissful dreams of Life. How can I, once so happy, find myself now So dreadfully depressed, wishing for salvation, so That I might, die within peaceful arms, sending My broken soul, into another realm, leaving this Pitiful existence forever, gliding over ethereal planes my Soul soars with inexplicable joy, and I wish that you May one day feel this joy, soaring above all, able to Go where life had always denied entrance, back On earth, grueling pains, fruitless efforts, And a tormented existence, always wishing to Rise within an eternal heaven, and To fly high above it all, know that It’s just not a mortal dream, soaring within this Eternal hall, breathing in the crisp cool air of this Utopia...finding it to be no where...Yeah...well...I think this works :\ Couldn't think of anything really to write, so heh. here :P Written March 31st, 2002 © on Mar 30 2002 05:10 PM PST   0 • 10
