Live for Love

By Smeagol

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Once there was a young boy who lived in the forest Spent his time hunting for his next meal He lived in the shadows for he was lonely Often he would wonder if indeed love was real As Fate would have it one day when he was hunting He came across a Fairy sleeping in a flower bed She was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen Slowly she awoke, smiled at him and said Dance once more around the fire Feel your spirit flying higher Find your heart's true desire We must live for love Dance with me and take my hand We'll travel off to mystic lands Open your heart and you'll understand We must live for love When the boy touched the Fairy he felt his soul awaken Together they danced all through the night He lived his life for love and he was rewarded The shadows were banished, he was bathed in the light Dance once more around the fire Feel your spirit flying higher Find your heart's true desire We must live for love Dance with me and take my hand We'll travel off to mystic lands Open your heart and understand We must live for love We must live for love We must Live for Love Written April 8th, 2002 © on Apr 07 2002 05:59 PM PST   20 • 0 • 8
