Liz's spell

By sneaker

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Witchcraft ivory Sorcerer's orbs Speak the words I am transfixed Utter the barest mumbles and I am yours I hear your command- and draw near, nearer still Foreheads merge as noses touch Slowly the world vanishes Only you and I remain, and we are one But in a flash the spell is broken Magic too intense for even you to bearPosting this poem, not sure it's very original, I can't find the words for what transpired. The problem I think is this is too much description, not enough feeling. Opinion? Nov 18, reread, didn't like, made some changes that improve it some. Perhaps it's better now, perhaps only different.
