The world was rocked today Seems as though it's falling apart Many things were destroyed Things dear to the patriotic heart People hijacked four passenger planes And did so many things How could these people be so mean? Can't they see all the tears they bring? Two planes were crashed Into the Twin Towers The World Trade Center is no more Peoples' graves will be sprinkled with flowers Many jumped From these towers Hoping to save A few precious hours One plane hits the Pentagon The fire is burning still America is under attack Many people they do kill Once more a plane hits Pennsylvania this time Mouths open, no sound Like a silent mime Innocent passengers Bystanders, too Are now dead Who did this, who?! Families are torn apart They can only mourn A cloud of death Has been born In loving memory Of those who died Please know God's by your side We must stay strong So we aren't thought weak Or war will begin And havoc will wreak Oh what will become Of this crazy event Will America Be broken or bent?
