Ode to Weather

By Starburst

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The lightning strikes the weathered house And breaks the windows' glass Soon after this event takes place, The violent storm has passed The sun comes out Away goes the rain A rainbow appears Like ease to a pain Weather can bring terror and fright Especially if the storm comes at night But it can also bring joy and smiles As the wind blows and the sun shines for miles We try to predict things Tomorrow rain and then snow But I don't think we ever really Will know which way the weather will go Written January 13th, 2002 © on Jan 13 2002 03:46 AM PST   0 • 10
