Who Am I ?

I often wonder as the days go by Who am I? Am I the woman others see Or am I ... me.. the one I choose to be Where is she, the one I want to be? Where is the woman deep inside?? Is she buried in all the lies: In all the needs of others Will she arise from the ashes of time Like the Phoenix ,,,,,in her prime There is so much that pertains to me A wife, a mother, a friend  and a lover How I long to discover, The woman deep inside of  me To let her be free, to rise and take her place For all the world to see, The one that is really me The truth of my Soul and my Spirit That is part of the all that I am I will arise and be all that  I can Can I dare to let you see all that is within Will all my passions be in vain Or will you be the one to gain All that I am and am called to be So can I let this woman free To be all she wants to be And not what others need her to  be Can she fly this woman in me Will she touch the heavens And learn to be free? Yes  I will arise and go forth to discover All  that I am and all that is really me For, yes,  I  like this woman I  really am For I am just me,  no  more no less....
