Memories I Hold
So quiet I hear the rustling of the leaves As my mind soars Through passionate memories I see your face Inside my mind To nothing I can compare When you smile lovingly at me While you run your finger through my hair When you look into my eyes I feel a sudden sense of bliss When you wrap me in your arms And pull me into kiss Your soft hands Against my skin Caress my face And soul within To my heart You hold the key To set my soul And body free But now you're gone You may never return Without you It feels like my body burns My love for you is strong Forever I shall hold Without you here I*m left in the cold I stumble through darkness Alone and afraid For t*was so long Our farewells we did bade I feel I must end my life With the swiftness of a blade As the image of your sweet face Slowly begins to fade As you begin to fade Our future lies untold For although we are seperated Our memories I still hold.
