Tears of Love
As I sit here all alone Pondering in my never-ending pain A wondering vision blurs my mind It comes unseen at first, but grows in strength with time It’s tall and dark Mysterious and mournful Although the lights are very dim I can still see the glow that lies deep within him There is something about him This being Something I can’t describe He stands motionless as I begin to cry His long, black hair falls into his face As he looks down at me from his towering height Unlike anything I’ve ever known He bends down and places his hand on the back of my head I look up from my once covered eyes And look at his face He doesn’t speak Silence fills the air I try to speak, but my throat becomes dry I look down, to try to break his trance But I am forced to look back up Slowly my eyes cross his again And a chill shoots up my spine A start of a smile crawls across my face He stairs deeply into my eyes And I can’t help but look back into his He stands again, but this time not alone He takes me by my hand and pulls me up Even standing he is much taller than I am We stand there together No more than six inches apart I start to cry again, not really knowing why He starts to cry too as he wipes my tears away with his hand Breaking the silence he whispers “I love you” I look down, confused at first Now everything makes sense I look back into his eyes and reply “I love you too.” Written December 28th, 2001 © on Dec 28 2001 04:06 AM PST 18 • 0 • 8
