She said she cannot love. She said we cannot be. She said I am so naïve. She said, but so is she. She said all the names she hates. She said only silence waits. She said she could do without All of those she talks about. She said the sky stops somewhere. She said that God isn’t there. She said sometimes she wishes she were dead. Sometimes I wish I didn’t hear everything she said.This is a poem I wrote near the beginning of high school, I think, some 5 or 6 years ago.
