You must be so ashamed Of all the nasty things I've said in your name Guilty words preclude guilty actions I wish I could take them all back And give you a better impression There's an embarassing beginning To every story that's worthwhile It's brought me this far so why go back now I'd rather refine what I have left Than turn away and relapse into A persona I've come to regret Sometimes I wish I could forget But I'm living it every day And every day it lets me learn something new So I wish you could put it behind you Learn to forgive learn to be patient While I learn learn how to apologize Written April 1st, 2002 © on Apr 01 2002 10:10 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
