prejudice comes in many forms color alone is not the norm chosen first i suppose for to eyes it's apparent but others are there just as inherent a house may be old but clean some call that condition mean not seeing a home bound with love held together with pride no great importance are things but the people inside as for the matter of clothes some may turn up their nose at home-sewn recycled items without that designer label money wastes in the closet let's put food on the table the question is career what field are you in my dear a housewife in the country oh one of those it must be nice not to work i suppose where did you take your degree and what is G.E.D. how nice theres a program for people like you who haven't a goal to pursue i've heard all of this you see as it was applied to me these comments were born from all colors and kinds from those who placed wallets above hearts and mindsprejudice (noun) 2 a (1) : preconceived judgment or opinion (2) : an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge b : an instance of such judgment or opinion c : an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics Written March 14th, 2002 © on Mar 14 2002 05:58 AM PST   0 • 9
