you have given my heart wings to soar away across the very darkest clouds that came up yesterday you've taught me how to fly past every problem that's in sight but i don't know how i can do without you every night every night the darkness closes in and i can't hear you call you seem oh so far away when living gets this small the treasure chest where i keep your memory overshadows all and i can't hear your voice now when you call of all the gifts you've given that reach to eternity most of all my sweet love you've given you to me patient lover lifelong friend and the one who knew it all but now you've drifted far away and i can't hear your voice when you call you've taught me how to handle truths by overcoming lies every hurt that's come along you've been there to dry my eyes now the truth is that your gone and it's so plain to see i'm having trouble handling this much honesty and the silver chalice of our love couldn't stay the fall and i can't hear your voice now when you callcomments and critiques welcomed Written January 27th, 2002 © on Jan 27 2002 01:59 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
