Basic Definitions

Many obstacles are found On the road of love each day, Places both can stumble, As we go along the way. But one area so clouded… A zone where we might trip, Are basic definitions In our relationship. What you may call a letter, I see as a casual note… 3 lines in large print you say, Answers 50 that I wrote. And in case you’d overlooked, I even have a phone… If you don’t like to write, You know I’m always home. If these don’t work for you, The pc is first rate… Im’ming is a nice way, For friends to communicate. I’ve been told that stretching, Is a decent exercise… If something is deemed worthy, At least that, I’ve surmised. But I’ve noticed every situation, Where flexing is in store… It seems each time you ask, I give, then you’re wanting more. Hearts can stretch the distance, All things be overcome… But it takes two people working, Not one more than some. I won’t ask you to change, You’ve said it’s such trouble, But neither will I offer pins, For you to burst my bubble. I’ve listened to your sad tales, Of those you thought untrue… Now I know how that’s defined, And what they had to do. So now I’m one more story, On the shelf in your book rack, This is my last long letter… And I’m not looking back.all comments and critiques welcomed Written March 4th, 2002 © on Mar 04 2002 03:42 AM PST   0 • 8
