with lights turned down to dim glow music plays our song's refrain we hold each other tightly circling dance steps sighing names just outside our window worlds are passing in the night while here in our hotel room love and kisses seem so right hours stretch before us though we're always wanting more secret city rendezvous “do not disturb” sign on the door pressing close in tenderness like lovers everywhere caresses lead to passion melting all our cares as raindrops beat against dark glass our hearts still sound as one with minutes now remaining after loving’s done though staging our performance brings us both some happiness reality rolls in like fog city hotel room then dissolves like chalk in the rainall comments and critiques welcomed Written January 31st, 2002 © on Jan 30 2002 07:35 PM PST   18 • 0 • 8
