Creation ~ One View

one day before days had come to be measured all that existed was a mass of seething energy in the cauldron of emptiness The Divine One then dipped His finger into this mixture of chaos tasted the results declared that it was good and it was ready He tipped the pot a bit and our Universe flowed out before Him while it was still warm He shaped with His own Hands this Earth loving it a little more because something about this Creation appealed to Him dipping once again into that lifeforce He sprinkled trees and forests mountains and plains oceans and deserts and all that lives in or on them He felt that this was good and while all things were beautiful a delight to His eye something struck Him as... YES! the idea came to His mind and before another thought passed through He dribbled starlight substance mixed with blackest night then breathed on it...cooling this lump that began to shape itself into a Man for all it was worth then He felt He could sit back and rest but it was not to be, for while the Man appeared to be doing a fine job tending to all He had made and the last of the animals right down to Zebra were named...that Man had a downcast look and it was then that the Divine One devised the word 'loneliness' applying it to the hearts of all His creatures passing His hand across the eyes of Man...The Divine One soothed him into sleep, and while that first brush with Morpheus occurred He reached inside the Man's body under his arm near his heart and drew out Woman placing her by Man's side now, it appeared that He would get the rest He sought but like a bad dream held in the back of His mind He knew that trouble was stirring in Paradise looking down, He saw bigger than life and twice as true that Serpent, with his false light shining through too late to intervene it seemed for Eve was already extending that apple to Adam in the hand of invitation and because he had fallen hard for this woman he took and ATE OF IT at that moment...a storm swept through mankind and rolled black clouds down through the ages far into the future, and the garden became a forbidden place for man and woman Adam and Eve were cast out and clothed with their brother's skins, guilty as charged...compounding further still their sins hurting... the Divine One saw them struggle in want and need fighting pain destruction death and took pity giving them hope in the form of a Saviour one day to come, to deliver their hearts back to the state of perfect innocence He had created them in wiping clean the black night quality that had stained their souls so deeply with the whitest of white this One would come and the reddest of all blood would spill out to cleanse what man had done and so it happened He has comecomments and critiques always welcomed here :) Written February 9th, 2002 © on Feb 09 2002 12:39 PM PST   0 • 12
