If You're Not Busy...?

By tigerlilly

He called tonight, said, “Glad I got through, I’ve been thinking all day about you.” “If you're not busy, if no one's home, How ‘bout a little time, spent all alone?” I thought that was fine, said be here at eight, Broke out the wine, I love to celebrate… There he was on my doorstep, in half an hour, A smile on his face, in hand, spring flowers. He walked in the door, hat and coat hung, We looked at each other and just came undone! Wine bottle fell, still corked, on the couch, Bouquet landed, in a slumped pillow slouch. Arms and lips in a tangle, pressed near the wall, Trying to edge our way out of the hall… As we kissed and touched and tried not to trip, Over ottomans, cats, and throw rugs that slip. Silk tie and suit coat flung over the chair, Buttons fly off his shirt, sail through the air! My dress in a heap, to kick out of my way, As his trousers drop, what a field day. The bedroom is upstairs, too far we suppose, In moments, divesting us of the rest of our clothes… Hearthrug looks just fine, and the fire is bright, Looks like it's gonna be… a housewarming night. We are usually so calm, sedate, almost prim, But today, I’ve had my mind on him… And he’d thought about me, told me so, too, Now we’re both at it like tigers in the zoo. Our hands were flying at a furious pace, Lips and tongues, head to toe, over each other did race. What got into us we don't know, but in a snap… Like two cartographers, our bodies we mapped. We found the hills and the valleys and the side roads, The scenic drives, mountain peaks and mother lodes. On a river of passion, we rafted white waters, Neither giving the other, one bit of quarter. ‘Till at last, when we'd put kama sutra to shame, We gave in to the moment and finally...well… Then for some strange reason we laughed till we cried, Love sure stirs up funny feelings inside.all comments and critiques welcomed :) Written March 19th, 2002 © on Mar 18 2002 04:41 PM PST   0 • 14
