Love is a Gem

By tigerlilly

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Every gleaming facet of your love, sparks wildfire in my heart... you're all I'm thinking of when we're far apart. Diamonds with their rainbows, shining so slendidly... are something like your eyes, when you look down at me. The prism of a morning dewdrop, catching sunbeams on the run, is in your smile that I notice, when we're laughing, having fun. And crystal moments sparkle, in the brilliance of the light, then grow a little softer... in the dimness of our nights. When onyx skies with sapphire stars watch moonstones illuminate... the fire opals passion stirred, Tiger's Eye and Jade can't wait. In this golden setting filagreed, new love has taken flight... forging links that time won't break, to shine forever in our sight.all comments and critiques welcomed :) Written February 18th, 2002 © on Feb 18 2002 03:10 PM PST   18 • 0 • 8
