this ordinary flower has extraordinary dreams and whiles away the time reflecting on life's streams for the tigerlily grows by babbling brooks where rocks divide frothing water as it looks for some vast river deep and wide and the search is ever pointing just you look inside and see an ordinary flower growing in a vacant lot master gardener's eyes disdain this common birthing spot their search for dusky satin petaled roses blinds the eye to what this specimen discloses in a blue vase set so high on a mantle or a table near a window by the stair the color would set off the very nicest room with flair but this ordinary flower is destined for but one sweet home the wilds are still it's bower and it often stands alone in banks of color near the road it shares the traveler's company content with ordinary tigerlily seems to beall comments and critiques welcomed Written January 27th, 2002 © on Jan 26 2002 11:15 PM PST   0 • 12
