one day Hope went sailing on the sea of Love whispering prayers unfailing to the Captain up above Hope's ship was stout and true sails billowed full of air waters calm and blue the day so bright and fair Faith came on board a sailor Patience answered as first mate the smiling cook was Humor but the pilot's running late at last the harbormaster said it's clear to sail and now we face disaster but not from storm or gale Courage is the pilot's surname his middle title Care without his given...Laughter couples see Posiedon's lair at last the pilot's boarded misplaced but not forgot and the Trust that Hope afforded makes up our happy lot all hands on deck, up anchor now we are on our way late but with no rancor Hope's ship will sail todayall comments and critiques welcomed Written January 29th, 2002 © on Jan 29 2002 07:55 AM PST   0 • 14
