Then Twix starts to beckon, Its chewiness beguiles. Rush hour too, he's with me, His name is Hershey bar. I’ve stashed away this bonus, Hid it in my car. Dinnertime draws nearer… My plate holds chocolate cake. Sure enough, it's devil's food! He knows just what to bake. Now I lay me down to sleep, York Patties in my wake… A chocolate devil owns my soul, He’s offering cheesecake. I’m heading off to dreamland, It should come as no surprise… That while I sleep this devil, Tempts me in disguise!...this is an older challenge submission, that i got in a bit too late for competition...have since revised this piece, and would like to post it in hopes that someone might give comments or suggestions for improvements... ty... :) Written March 11th, 2002 © on Mar 10 2002 05:40 PM PST 18 • 0 • 14
