Reflections of Stability
Kneeling at ponds' edge, Peering into tranquil water. Reflections twist when kissed, By falling tears. Corner of my eye A flower is mirrored, too, and Its lovely appearance, Marred briefly, refreshed often, With each kiss’ fluid ripple. But oh The flower of surrender, Is unmoved, quietly waiting Smiling in sunlight. I go sit with my new friend.Thank God for friends Written January 5th, 2002 © on Jan 05 2002 03:09 AM PST, Timothy G Cameron 0 • 12
