As a Child
By Tina2
As a child dreams keep us on our toes. Lying in the grass, the fragrance of dandelions tickling our nose. Four leaf clovers are treasured kept close to our heart. At what point in our lives do fears and worries start? As a teenager we question our identity and reason. Age comes about so rapidly as we mature into each new season. People pass in and out of our lives, leaving footprints on our hearts. Sadness fills within our soul when a loved one departs. With an open heart we must accept Jesus in our life. He died upon the cross to carry our burdens and our strife. He waits patiently for us to ask him to come in. Lightly He raps upon our hearts to forgive us of our sin. At what point in our lives do we attempt to walk alone? As a baby, as a child, or is it when we are full- grown? There is a universe of possibilities that lie ahead for all. The possibilities are only materialistic, unless we answer to God’s call. For what lies ahead will slowly but surely come to pass. We will all face judgment one day at last. Each man will answer for him and him alone. Judgment shall be passed leading you to your eternal home. Will you walk where the dandelions grow? Or will you be cast into the pits of damnation below? As a child one shall face the God of all mankind. You must make your decision now, after death you can’t turn back time.
