Lost Souls
By Tina2
Devastation awaits those who fail to see, What this world is impending upon around you and me. You can deny it. You can try to hide. But the Lord knows what is masked inside. Unveil your eyes to the word. Open up your heart. Then your life with the Lord will start. Ask him to forgive you, of all your sins. He gave his only begotten son, for us to be cleansed. His love is immense. His clemency never dies. But you won’t get into Heaven by telling yourself lies. Those who vacillate until the end to see, will have wished they asked him to be free. Free from immorality. Free from denying him. Free from sadness. Free from un-forgiven sin. We are all sinners, merely saved by grace. To lay our worldly crowns at his feet, when we meet him face to face. In the final chapter of the most studied book, lies the story of a man who let us off the hook. Salvation sits upon a hill, where one was crucified. Though he once walked this life in flesh and bone, He now awaits his return to bring his followers home. So please I humbly ask you, to make your heart wise. Stop telling yourself that the Bible is full of lies. Empathize within your heart, that the words within are true. Open your arms, reach out to God, ask him to forgive you. For on my shoulders I myself, carry a great weight. Worrying about lost souls, who do not care about their fate. Down on my knees, I pray to God and his Son. That these words I have expressed; could but save, just one. Written October 16th, 2001 © on Oct 16 2001 06:06 AM PST, Tina Leonard 18 • 0 • 13
