Fifth Season Plea
By Tina2
Perpetual blooms we see of lilacs and roses. Dandelions placed in the snowmen’s noses. Kids are frolicking about making angels in the snow. Wearing shorts and t-shirts as the gentle wind does blow. Stars shine ever luminously as the blue sky fades away. The temperature was sixty degrees a record breaker today. The fifth season song plays so loud and true. People are dancing in the rain as the clouds cover the sky of blue. What shall this day bring forth, as we open the blinds to see. The leaves are turning green on every rippling tree. Raining in the streets is the sound of the birds’ lullabies. Winters snow calls about as the season cries. Summer has fallen short of it all wishing it could see. What Fall would be like with snow, generating leaves on the trees. Spring is just around the corner beckoning to be heard. Thinking that all this pandemonium is merely absurd. The snow shall be falling tomorrow the swimming pools will be full. The fifth season vacation time, closed will be work and school. Giving all a time to delight in the simple pleasure of life. Vanishing tired achy feet, stress, weakness and strife. The joy of the nation shall ring about a new unknown song. Yearning for the peace of mind, spirit and soul all year long. For a chance to experience in this civilization what our eyes can no longer see. Peace among brothers, friends and foe, family and children no animosity. The abundant amount of joy and happy tears shared between us all. Blinded by work, government and stress, during winter, summer, spring and fall. A time to laugh, sing and dance, to forget responsibilities and such. A season of miracles, joy and peace is this asking too much?
