the dreamer
Who is this person many of you know? Maybe you've seen him in places that he doesn't go. His face is concealed, Nothing is shown. He stands there watching and waiting alone. Do you wonder what he's thinking? While you're sitting there drinking, His eyes aren't blinking. He only has a deep stare. He's not looking at you, But at something that's not there? Do you wonder why he's looking, What he's thinking about And what he sees? What's his problem? Does he have a disease? He just sits there taking everything in. His face is concealed Hiding his grin. What is he thinking? Does he live a life of sin? Why doesn't he show what's hiding within? He feels scared... Not prepared for shedding his skin. He's not sure of where to begin. Should someone be there to help this soul, To show him that he's the one in control? The only person who can do that Is the one that knows. They have to see the real him, The him hidden beneath the clothes. Is anyone ready to see what's inside, And ready to be with him when all the fears die? If you see him, Don't be afraid. Look for ways around the walls that he's made. Talk to him and listen, You be his aide. Only then you'll understand his whole masquerade. Don't just look away from him, Go up to him and talk. Ask him things, he'll answer. Go with him on a walk. When he has this You'll see someone brand new. Someone not afraid, A better person shinning through. Can anyone give him the support he needs? To walk with him and talk with him, To be there with him when he succeeds? He believes there is... So he just sits and waits, Dreaming of a life that only his mind can create.
