your skies

By to some i am a poet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

now the sunrise in your sky is so full of pain. dark storm clouds are tearing through your terrain bringing with it a hurt that can't be explained, and you're being watched to see how you'll remain. with every sunrise and every passing day, try to calm you skies because the pain will go away. tears will fall for you like many have all ready. hurt has torn through you and will be steadily. sometimes your skies are filled with your colors. a sunrise in blue skies with a red sun, and white clouds provide some cover. so as long as you do that on any given day. your pain, at least for a moment... is taken away.i wrote this a few weeks after sept. 11th, sometime around my birthday. and i have another one that i might post that i wrote just minutes after the attacks.
