I know someone who has accomplished a lot in life But not without his share of trouble and strife You see...he will not let things get in his way Or even putting things off for another day He knows more things will come for tomorrow When one project is done another will follow He seeks ways to assist people in anyway he can By sharing his ideas so others can understand He is someone who'll talk to anyone about anything To get them to smile he would even begin to sing He has showed me that not everything is bad By taking things in good stride instead of getting mad I've known him for years and am glad to say It is great to see or hear him each and everyday I hope to be there for him as much as he was for me For he is the person I admire and someday hope to be Written October 4th, 2001 © on Oct 04 2001 01:29 PM PST 18 • 0 • 12
