Wash You Off In The Shower
I step into the shower To wash off the dirty things you've left me with. I can't tell If that's a salty tear Rolling down my face Or just One of the times you said You loved me. You've left pieces of your heart Between my teeth, Your lies Underneath my nails, Aggervation Tangled in my hair, Hand prints Left on my waist. My wounds bleed, The color of orange Diluted blood Fills the tub. They've healed before Then you stuck in your knife again, Then poured the salt one last time. It stings, Every part of me. I scrub Sarcasticness Off of my shoulders, The kisses Off of my lips. A layer of skin Off my back From the memories We've shared. I turn off the water And watch you Spin helplessly Down the drain In your own filth And I laugh As you complain, I get out of the shower And dry off again.
