The moon glowing Bright as a feline's eyes Which reflect the fallen star Supine, but radiating Black magic Provoking the helots' Blood to mad vortex The serfs run helterskelter Under the unconscienable tyrant He grins in understanding The joy sometimes found in insanity He reigns unopposed As his slaves wander In this new found Light-ridden land Then, the revolution The almighty Sun Rises from his grave To blanch this unfortunate spawn Of his light He giveth and taketh away He strips the earth of darkness Illuminating with grace The great flood... Of light But dims memories Of the night before day As the creatures below Under heavy-handed rule Slow to a steady pace Returning to their lives of servitudeMetaphorical...
