the hidden war/howling furies
why do people fight the way that they do? they bicker and argue, curse and swear, but to what ends? where does this take them?? does it actually do any good, or does ot actually cause more and deeper problems? the problems root themselves deeper and deeper until.... one day they lash out at each other! pent up furies escape and howl around them like a darkened cloud, the hideous faces of hate and malice poking out through the grey blackness. taunting, catcalling, getting them even more riled up even though they don't even know... it continues, escalates into a full on, fully hidden and silent, WAR!!! only when the smoke clears and the dust settles, when the last shot fired, the last man is left standing. this, THIS is the time when you realize the damages done to yourself and to the other side. what have you done.....? what have you done....... now, to rebuild. slow, painful, agonizing, at the worst. apoligizing and admitting defeat hurts the most.
