We Will Never Crumble

By Wallflower

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The city which once held The torch to light the way Crumbled into pieces In just a single day. But America cannot be broken, America will be proud. We will show our strength And let our pride be seen all-out. We mourn the loss of many For a much unneeded cause. They sliced right through the nation Like a newly sharpened saw. We will never crumble, We will never fall. They may have bombed our nation, But haven't weakened us at all. Written September 26th, 2001 © on Sep 26 2001 08:18 AM PST   0 • 12
