The luminous foil It covers the sky I feel that we’re here Just so we can die You’re taking me out You put me back in Thought you would kill me You’d kill me again I’m breathing the steam Of a thousand dead dreams I’m breathing the dreams I’m breathing the dreams I wasn’t that pleasant When first you arrived So what do you think That might have survived Now that I’m lifeless You stir me around Pick up the pieces That fell on the ground From out of the cold And into the heat You’re taking my heart And then you repeat Our love has a taste Of bitter rebirth Why do you save me What is my worth I’m breathing the steam Of a thousand dead dreams I’m breathing the dreams I’m breathing the dreams Now I can see through The luminous seams To see that we’re breathing A thousand dead dreamsCrap from awhile back, Written February 2nd, 2002 © on Feb 02 2002 09:23 AM PST   0 • 10
