There are no Words
By Walter Burns
There are no words In space, Or that’s where they are kept? Because words We can’t erase Like days We only wept There is no love In heart, Or that's where it’s all found? Because words May tear apart From space The lack of sound There is no faith In trust, Or that’s where it is known? Because words May be a must But space Is overgrown There isn't hope In us, When thought to be so much? Because words Might help discuss Like space An icy touch Written July 27th, 2001 © on Jul 27 2001 02:38 AM PST 0 • 1
