I feel so lost right now

I feel so lost right now With the heat of our battle still upon us The intensity of the words searing our flesh I feel so lost right now Lying next to you after sufferings false stop Only to recount soon our torturous pleasures I feel so lost right now Mistakes befallen and pained treasures to behold Often taking their place among our clouds I feel so lost right now Not knowing what to think Not knowing what to say Not knowing if I should wait Not knowing if I should lay I feel so lost right now For sometimes it feels like bliss Sometimes the nightmare looms And we both scream in our pain I feel so lost right now My love for you burns strong Yet trust long since faded For steps skipped and knowledge forsaken Betrayals loom far in distance I feel so lost right now Sitting alone in front of this machine Speaking to a ghost of the love we both share Only waiting for the next spark to spring… Written April 5th, 2002 © on Apr 05 2002 04:05 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
