I miss you...

By wanderingpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I miss sleeping next to you at night The phone molded into my skin as before Hearing your soft breaths against my skin Feeling the peace surround us I miss laughing with you The joyous mixture of irony and crash Smiling and staring at blank walls Wishing I could see you again… I miss talking to you Debating this and that Popularity verses fantasy In the end turning to playful mocking… I miss hearing your soul Sharing our life stories Hopes, dreams, passions and nightmares With the freedom of young lovers discovering each other… I miss just being safe with you You pulling and inspiring emotions in me never fathomed Lifting me up to heights and depths I could never understand And the soothing you gave me… I miss being with you… Hearing your moans against my body Feeling the heat of your passion The strength of your need I miss the magic between us… One minute in conversation, the next in passion Exploring our fantasies as our blood boils Searing us with frenzied touches and words I miss what is so far away now I miss exciting you Entrancing you I miss you needing me I miss you loving me… I miss you… Written April 5th, 2002 © on Apr 05 2002 04:45 AM PST   18 • 0 • 1
