I must look Pathetic

By wanderingpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I must look pathetic My Darkened eyes My strings, sircles hung below My shotty, unshaven face My motted, grimy hair I must look pathetic My tired neck collapsing in air My shoulders weak and shrugging My even goatee My Bright blue eyes I must look pathetic My slow moving gaze My Deep, throaty tone I must look pathetic They gazed They stared She answered and smiled I smiled and twinkled I must look pathetic She smiled and blushed She lowered her eyes and glanced away I dropped my pen She looks up I must look pathetic I play with my pen in hand She plays with her hand in hair I glance over She looks away I must look pathetic My words of debate Her tones of argument After words calmed She strays from my gaze I must look pathetic She looks down I sigh I get up To my room, do I leave to lie.
