Thy Son Hears

By wanderingpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Words expressed in anger Words expressed in hate Words that know no feeling Yet so heard to fate Screams uttered in silence Tears shed in the past Pain flow overwhelming Pain compounded untill the last Last of ages Spread bare to bone Life's Pains buried One feels utterly alone You only feel the disgrace I only feel the burn You say I disgust you I say the world will yet turn Whose place is it to hate? For thine words strike tears Can't you see your child crying As you speak your hate, Thy Son Hears...This is a rather old poem that I just found. Feel free to comment.
