To you, My Dear

By wanderingpoet

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

To you, my dear Take it Take it all Come into my chest and rip out my spine Move down my body and cut out my spleen Just leave me here to rot Take my soul and burn it upon the pier Take my heart and stew it with your feast Take my love and throw it towards the wind Take my passion and turn it to pain To you, my lovely dear To you, My evil queen Take everything that I am Take my sanity and revel in it Roll about it like pigs in mud Leave me violated and scared Take what you will You can have him, which ever that is You can have them both You can pray and fight You can cry upon your pillow at night You can let them abuse you You can let them torture you For you know I won’t You know I can’t My love for you was simple My love for you was pure I only want to bring you joy And you seem only to want to bring misery So take it all, My Dark Love For I need it no further You promised not to hurt me Then twisted you blades into my scull Have him. Have them… And allow me to die Quivering and Alone! Written April 4th, 2002 © on Apr 04 2002 10:13 AM PST   0 • 1
