Have you ever Fought against the tide Sinking but swimming Knowing that you’re different But not caring. Have you ever Hidden such a secret That it hollowed you Out from the inside But you kept it anyway. Have you ever Wanted something so bad You thought you’d Explode without it. But changed your mind when you got it. Have you ever had A friend who was your best friend Until she got a boyfriend and then decided You just weren’t worth the effort But she always came back when he dumped her Have you ever Fallen in love With a green eyed man Because I know I have.
