The Gatekeepers Revenge
I feel like I’m drowning, Slowly falling through the merky water. I’m gasping for air, Struggling, clawing, wishing To get up for air. I can see the light fading As I feel someone grabbing me. Pulling me deeper and deeper Moving to the bottom, If there is a bottom. Then I see them, Slaves to the gatekeeper. I see them all, Their bodies blue and bloated. It is then I accept my fate, And then I feel them let go. I ascend, towards the new light. Its becoming brighter and brighter. I wake with blood all around me. Acceptance fades out and pain takes its place. Here I am, lying in my own blood, Drowning in my own life. Written September 10th, 2001 © on Sep 09 2001 09:29 PM PST, Rebecca 0 • 10
