A Face in The Crowd

By Blushfulmoon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Walking down a crowded street one day I thought i saw an old familiar face Familiar yet, I can't remember where Seems like year's ago He see's your face now That same questionally stare. What now? Speak or look away What a relief, He is turning the corner and leaving Just a passer-by Good you thought! Nobody  you knew But looking up again You see he is walking Straight toward you And with a feeling of numbness You wonder what to do next ( While in my mother's house cleaning the upstair's i ran across this book with poems i kept in high school...just thought i would share one) Susan Written June 30th, 1984 © on Jan 30 2002 12:58 PM PST, Susan Vessels   0 • 9
