Blowing Bubbles

By Blushfulmoon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Happily I blow bubbles With the children on the street They are amazed, That I can blow one huge bubble With my lips, pursed just so Up into the air they float, High, higher, higher, Multicolored at first, Then changing to shades Of purple, green and blue The higher up they float The more opaque they become Floating upward Toward the branches of the trees They seem to kiss the air And then They burst!
