City Church By The Road

City Church By The Road The city church beside the road Has stood there many years You've see many come and  go And dried  so many tears, From the podium above the height You have preached sermons day and night The church bell rings loud and clear For those who come and hear You tell your congreation The future belongs to thee; And to thine own self be true, Come closer to God You tell those who have sinned Repent and start anew Oh city church beside the road So many pass you by Each Sunday as God call's them closer To that heavenly home In the sky, So when next you pass That city church by the road For inside the doors Are the answers More precious than any gold (Blushfulmoon) aka Blush Written January 5th, 2002 © on Jan 05 2002 08:17 AM PST, Susan Vessels   18 • 0 • 13
