Homeward BounD The Nursing Home
By Blushfulmoon
Sunnydale Manor quite the nursing home Squeaky floor closed no earthly sounds Not a window to let in the sun Sunnyvale will take care of you A door opens up revealing stark white walls Yes Sunnvale is just like a home Two meatal hospitals beds sligtly askew As they sit side by side Plastic padding to keep their bodies in place As their old bones toss and turn Keeping them happy in Sunnvale's home Chairs on wheels that recline and bend No private bath baths that have no doors Closets in bedrooms with stark white doors Chalboakboard with picture of family from years ago Do they ever look at them or even know? Is this what we are looking forward to? Dining areas where meals are fed Crafts here to who can remember in their right head..... A piano yellowed that played too much Large screen t.v. Can they hear what they say? Its now quite time from one to three Patient's taking a nap to be worry free Head fuzzy from Thorazine glad its not me Are you looking forward to Sunnydale I got to tell you no not me Written February 23rd, 2002 © on Feb 23 2002 06:01 AM PST, Susan Vessels 20 • 0 • 10
