Lonesome Silence

By Blushfulmoon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Dark depression Floats like a cloud over me Yet I feel so alone Crying tears And not even knowing the reason Why! The earth comes alive With trees and flowers of spring But my mind and thought's Are like those On a dark dreary day All these tears Of uncertainty and grief I feel like I am drowning In a raging river I try to smile But the mental anguish Grows in confusion Shadows surround me Like desperate people And once again I'm hurled back into darkness June 1994, Written January 25th, 2002 Pic courtesy of www.deviantart.com by _Stephen Worthy © on Jan 25 2002 01:11 PM PST, Susan Vessels    0 • 1
