Secret Lovers

By Blushfulmoon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

In the dark consuming night, As dawns beauty is hidden from sight Two lovers in secret  are on  the prowl, Nothing stirring but stray dogs and owls Two silent lovers, secretly intertwine Two souls forgotten Lost in time, Holding on for a few stolen minutes Taking their hearts to broken limits, A forbidden love not meant to be Hidden, from all eyes to see, So in the darkened night they meet Embracing before the light, Silent lovers, secret lovers Hiding in the nightWritten March 20th, 2002 © on Mar 19 2002 04:07 PM PST, Susan Vessels   love
