Summer in The Cemetry

By Blushfulmoon

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Now the pear, wild plums and cherry trees Have dropped have dropped white bloosom outside and over the wrought iron fence, With hues of green and gold Summer sun dapples Green- colored stones with muted tones Tall pine trees sawying and boughing in the wind So intoxicating you can smell the aroma Pears, wild plums and cherreies Soon will be in old dishes of glazed fruit Pear, plums and plums meant to be canned Lie unfinshied drying on the screen Abandoned Here the dead have all become Like sping and summer casting off a hand me down dress Written February 22nd, 2002 © on Feb 22 2002 12:29 PM PST, Susan Vessels   0 • 1
