Today the calm

Today the calm Returns to reclaim me; I am grateful to soak it up Into every pore of my being. A fleet glimpse of tranquility …mid torrent… it was more than I’d hoped for. Outside my window, Pale forsythia Glows faintly yellow, Lone flowers seeking Spring sunlight; Laid upon a background Of grey-barked trees; Footed by grass barely greening. The sun washes all with Light gold, Paling the sky to delicate azure. Bonnie Cook 14-Apr-02 Written April 14th, 2002 © on Apr 14 2002 05:11 AM PST    0 • 12
