Doll in a corner Thrown away for something better Never was a pretty one But she did well enough to suffice For a while Doll in the corner Dirty porcelain broken Never was a perfect one But the comfort was there Until something better caught your eye Doll in the corner Shattered head to toe Never was a speakable topic But she knows And her pieces are too small to put together again Doll in the corner With feeling glass eyes Never was one or the other But she's stuck on the flypaper To those feelings she can't deny Doll in the corner Forgot her, didn't you? Never was worth it So light the fire to her dress And burn her pain away Doll in the corner She was once clean Never too holy for you to hurt Her heart was fragments on the floor After four months had passed Doll in the corner Did her best for you Never could make you happy Maybe you'll forget her pain But it's always hers to bear Doll in the corner Gave all she could Never was good enough So turn your head away from her tears And maybe her screams won't echo Doll in the corner I can't make myself move Never could ask you why So in my segments I will lay Forgotten, but unable to forget Doll in the corner Will you pick me up?
